2nd Choice Chamberstick

This is a nice little chamberstick / candle holder / candlestick made by Meissen in the 20th century. It is nicely modeled with a handle in the form of a branch with a flower on top coming off the part that holds the candle. Nicely hand painted with a alrge single flower as well as a rose bud and a small single flower. Gold trim to the edge and the candel holding part. A really nice looking example. Simple yet super elegant! The stick is in perfect condition. It has a small manufacturing dimple on the underside that is probably the reason for it being marked as a second choice. It is marked underneath with their blue crossed swords mark with two cuts across it as well as the usual impressed and a painter's mark as shown. The candleholder measures about 2.625 inches tall with the saucer part having a diameter of 4.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
