Prunus Blossom Cup w/Fancy Handle & Saucer

This is a really nice early cup and saucer made by Meissen in about 1740. The set is decorated with the raised prunus blossom on the underside of the saucer and around the sides of the cup and are otherwise left plain white to show of their porcelain - white was more treasured than painted back then! The handle of the cup is super fancy and a typical early shape! Both the cup & saucer are in perfect condition with some minimal use marks - as nice as they come from this period! Both pieces are marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords underneath as shown and both have an early impressed number as shown. The saucer is 5.25 inches in diameter and just over 1 inch tall. The cup is 2.625 inches tall and has a diameter 2.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
