Pre 1740 Miniature Floral Teapot

This is a rare early miniature teapot made by Meissen before 1740. Likely for a solitaire or something along those lines. It does not have an impressed number yet but I don't think it is much before 1740. Maybe a year or two. The tea pot is nicely modeled with an animal spout, lots of nice designs along the handle and spout highlighted in puce and has a superb floral arrangement in the woodcut style to the front and back as well as some small lone flowers. The lid has some small flowers to it as well and a floral finial including a stem and leaf. Brown trim to the edge of the lid as well as the spout. The little pot is stunning and displays nicely but has a chip to the end of the spout as shown. Some minor chipping to the finial but otherwise it is in top condition! . Marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords to the bottom as shown. The pot is 2.75 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 5.5 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $749
