Polychrome Utensil Handles

This is a nice porcelain handle for a utensil like a knife / spoon / fork made by Meissen in the late 19th or early 20th century century. I only have one left out of the original 9. The porcelain handle is hand painted with two very nice floral arrangements - one on either side as well as a two single flowers and two bugs as well as a gold trim along the top where the metal ferrule would sit. The opening of the top is rectangular in size as shown. The piece is marked with the blue crossed swords on top where it would usually be hidden by the metal collar. The piece is in perfect condition and ready for a new metal part. One does not find these often at all! The handle is about 3.375 inches of which the top part where the metal collar would sit is about a quarter of an inch. It is about 0.625 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $99
