Polychrome Floral Eyebath

This is a very rare eye bath made by Meissen during the Marcolini period in the late 18th century. It is hand painted with polychrome flowers all around with two larger flowers on the front and the back of the main part as well as a smaller flower to either side and three more along the foot. Nice ring around the bottom of the foot to add some detail. These pieces are very hard to find and never cheap whatsoever and a polychrome one is quite special. If you consider the size to price ratio these are probably some of the most expensive items out there :) The eyebath displays perfectly from one side but the other side has a shallow chip to the top edge and another one to the base rim. Very easy to repair of need be and I might even have it done myself. The piece is 1.625 inches tall, 1.875 inches wide and 1.125 inches deep. The base has a diameter of just over 1 inch. It is marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark with the star underneath as well as an impressed 37 and a black painter's mark 68. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
