Blue Onion Pie Crimper

This is the one of those really hard to find items made by Meissen in the 20th century - a pie / pastry crimper . The handle is made of porcelain which is decorated with their famous blue onion design, the wheel is made of porcelain as well and decorated with a simple blue ring and the connecting parts are made of some sort of metal - I am assuming it is stainless steel. While I have seen pie crimpers that were made in Germany I ahve never seen one made by Meissen and in their usual fashion it is far superior to those made by their competitors. Instead of a wooden handle it has porcelain and very nice metal parts. A very solid piece that will last forever unless you drop it. The piece is in perfect condition. It is 8.125 inches long with the handle being 4 inches long and the wheel diameter is 1.375 inches. The piece is marked with the blue crossed swords on the end of the handle as well as in the stalk of the "onion". Please email me for more information or other pictures.
