Sitting Bear Figurine 1

This is a figurine of a sitting bear made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer period (late 1920's - early 1930's). He is superbly modeled and painted just right to look very elegant and almost real. The figurine is in great condition with just a tiny teeny chip to his right foot that was overpainted perfectly or might have even been made this way. The bear is marked underneath with the underglazed blue crossed swords mark with the dots between the tops, the incised model number V.106, an impressed 43 and a faint IV as a painters mark. The piece is 4 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
