Miniature Magpie Bird Figurine

This is a great miniature magpie bird figurine made by Meissen in the later 20th century. The figure is very well modeled with its colorful tail up in the air while sitting on a tree stump with a flower on it and some leaves painted on it. Superbly hand painted with lots of detail! A very fragile piece and one sees them damaged at the beak or tail almost all the time so it is nice to see one without issues. The figurine is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) as well as the usual impressed numbers as shown. The piece is 2.75 inches tall (most of that is the tail), 0.75 inches wide and 1.125 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
