Miniature Elephant Figurine #1

This is a miniature elephant figure made by Meissen in the 20th century. It is one of my favorite miniatures they made since he is so obviously 18th century in terms of modeling - he has the human based ears since these were modeled without anyone having seen the real deal just from description. The ears stuck and are still modeled the same way these days and that makes these little guys quite charming! The elephant has his trunk up in the air with the two tusks sticking out the front. Painted just a bit to make this one perfect and fun little piece! The figurine is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the underglazed blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual imrpessed and painted numbers as shown. The piece is 1.25 inches tall, 0.75 inches wide and 3.75 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
