Relief Design Floral Plate w/Nice Gilding

This is a great porcelain plate made by Meissen in the mid 18th century. This is the same style was also used for the St. Andrews Service and the Tsarina Elizabeth I of Russia Service. The plate is decorated with the Gotzkowski erhabene Blumen (raised flowers) design in the paste ( a bit hard to see in the pictures), a nice floral arrangement in the center and four more along the rim plus lots of little single flowers scattered about. The flowers are already in the Deutsche Blumen style but still show the influence of the Woodcut flowers so they are very early on probably around 1745. What makes it more special is that relaly nice gold trim along the edge. It's not super uncommon but it is almost always very worn which kind of makes it looks cruddy. So it's nice to ahve it in such good shape and it really makes the piece look elegant! The plate is in great condition with just some very minor wear along the high points of the edge. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. Marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords as well as an impressed number 21.
