Floral Pedestal For Figurine

This is a great base / pedestal for a figurine made by Meissen in about 1750. The piece has a tall slender shape to it with a rectangular base with three gold trimmed levels to the bottom and a gold trim to the top part. Each side has a relief design to it with a floral arrangement in the center as well as some smaller scattered flowers. A hole in the top to secure a figurine and to help with the firing process. It would make a nice addition to a figurine from this period! The pedestal is in superb condition with the gold trim in great condition and jsut a few small nibbles mainly to the very bottom edge and mainly from when it was made. One tiny nibble to the corner edge. It displays perfectly! jThe bottom of the base is flat and unglazed. No mark but it is very obvious that it is a Meissen piece from this period! The base is 4.25 inches tall and 2.75 inches on each side at the bottom. The top part is 2.625 inches on the sides. The light staining at teh top was from some glue residue which I cleaned off.
