Gentleman Picking Grapes Figurine

This is a figurine made by Meissen in about 1750. It is of a gentleman tending to his grape vine while dressed in a fur lines pink coat, pink pants and black tall boots. He is wearing a warm matching hat and standing on a typical base with the grapevine growing up a wooden stake in front of him. A couple of leaves and flowers to the base. Nice looking figurine and I ahve his companion lady figurine as well. The figurine displays nicely but there are damages and old restorations. His right arm looks to have had a clean break, whatever he was holding in his right hand (probably mroe grapes) is gone along with a bit of the inner hand and thumb. The grape vine and stake have been broken and restored, the right hand bottom corner of his coat has been worked on and the base has had a peice broken off and restored. It sounds worse than it is and he displays nicely but a good restorer could easily bring him back to perfection! The figure is 4.5 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. The piece is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark to the back of the base as shown. Underside is typical for the early pieces. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
