Large Parrot Figure

This is a large parrot bird figurine made by Meissen during the 20th century. A very colorful fellow sitting on a tree trunk which is superbly modeled with some leaves and flowers and even a bit of grass. The piece is in good condition with a bit of damage as shown but the usual issues with the tail and wings he does not have. He is marked underneath with the underglazed blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed marks as well as a painter's number. The figure is 13.25 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 6 inches deep. A fairly large and very elegant piece that would liven up any space! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
