Lady w/ Goats Figurine

This is very large figurine made by Meissen in the earlier 20th century. First modeled by Otto Pilz in 1906 I believe. A nicely modeled figure in the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil taste hand painted in the under glaze colors of that period. It is of a goat herder lady tending to two of her goats. A white goat and a black and white one. The young lady is wearing a simple blue skirt with a white top, a blue scarf and white head cover. She is holding a metal wir line in her hands - one going to each goat. Oval base with a relief grass design to it. The figurine is in fairly typical condition for this model. All the horns of the goats are eithe gone or have been restored. One has re broken off and I have that. One ear on the white goat is missing and the tail of the black and white goat has been glued back on. A small chip to the bottom base edge as shown. Nothing a good restorer cannot fix and it is a great figurine to bring back to perfection! The piece is 9.625 inches tall, 14 inches long and 7.5 inches deep. It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) on the back of the base where the lady is standing and with the impressed / incised numbers and letters underneath as shown. Germany underneath the base as well showing it to be a nice early example. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
