Superb Kakiemon Wall Plate

This is a really nice wall plate made by Meissen in the 20th century. It is hand painted with a large Kakiemon design including a fancy flowering plant with lots of colorful blossoms and elaves with a colorful bird flying above. Nice rim design in red with a bit of gold detail. Simple gold trim to the edge. The Kakiemon colors and designs are among my all time favorites! A truly stunning plate! The piece is 1.25 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the crossed swords in under glaze blue (first choice) and the usual impressed numbers as shown. There is also a hanger attached to it so one could hang it easily on a wall. The dish is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
