1750 Single Iris Flower Cup

This is a nice single cup made by Meissen in about 1750. It is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement to the front in that in between style of Woodcut flowers and Deutsche Blumen and has three more single flowers to the other side. Brown trim to the top edge, a larger and a tiny flower to the inside bottom and a flower to the handle as well. A great looking set that one should easily find a saucer for. The cup is in perfect condition with a couple of very minor and typical manufacturing flaws. Displays perfectly! The piece is marked underneath with the crossed swords mark as shown as well as an impressed number and a puce painter's mark that is on the very edge and hard to decipher. The cup is 1.625 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.75 inches with the handle sticking out on one side. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
