Hen w/ Chicks Figurine #2

This is a superb figurine of a hen with her chicks made by Meissen in the 20th century. A super cute figurine of just the chicken doing what they are doing without another figure distracting from it. The mother hen is pecking at some food on the ground while the chicks are all over the place doing different things like annoying mom :) Really nice base with raised scrolls all around the base highlighted with gilding. A stunning and fun piece! Superbly modeled and hand painted to perfection! The figurine is in perfect condition! The underside is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) as well as the usual impressed marks and a painter's number 4 as shown.
