Green Indian Flowers Demitasse Cup & Saucer

This is a mocha or espresso coffee demitasse cup and saucer made by Meissen in the 20th century. Both pieces are hand painted with the green and gold Indian flowers ( Indianische Blumen ) design that looks very nice. The design covers almost the entire surface with a nice rim trim and a bit of gold to the nicely shaped edge. Even the extra flower to the bottom inside of the cup - a sure sign of quality! The handle of the cup is superb as well. This size cup is not easy to find and I like them better than regular sized pieces since they take up less room in the cabinets plus this design is just amazing! The set is in perfect condition which never hurts either :) It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath (first quality) as well as the usual impressed and painted marks one expects from pieces of this period as shown. The cup is 2 inches tall and 2.625 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 4.375 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
