Gentleman with Grapes

This is a figurine of a boy or young gentleman made by Meissen in the mid 20th century. The figure is nicely modeled and hand painted and has the boy holding his hat standing on a typical base with gold scrolls around the edge and a column next to him with a basket filled with grapes on it. The figurine is in perfect condition which is always a plus! The piece is 5 inches tall, 3.25 inches wide and 2375 inches deep. The figure is marked with the under glaze crossed swords mark underneath the base as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. of the period and a red 18 as a painter's mark as shown.
