Meissen Spoon As Is

This is a small porcelain coffee or tea spoons made by Meissen but decorated in Dresden in the later 19th century. The spoon is hand painted a nice scene of a couple in a landscape surrounding in the bowl part with a floral arrangement on the back of the bowl and a tiny flower on the end of the stem on both the top and bottom. Nice gold trim to the handle and around the edge of the bowl. A nice little spoon and a rare survivor as these are very fragile. It displays nicely but has a tiny nibble to the back edge of the bowl as shown as well as a rough area on either side of the bowl part near the handle. Likely from where it was held when it was fired. The spoon is about 4 inches long and 0.75 inches wide. The handle part of that is 2.75 inches long. It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords where the handle meets the bowl on the back side. It has two cut marks across it denoting it to be a second choice piece which explains the painting. Please email me for more information or photos.
