Large Cockatoo Figurine #2

This is a large cockatoo bird figurine made by Meissen during the 20th century. The bird is superbly modeled and hand painted to perfection! He is sitting on top of a large tree stump decorated with flowers, leaves and some grass. The parrot has a nice pose as if checking something out and a very familiar one to owners of these superb creatures. The piece is in perfect condition! The figure is marked underneath the base as shown with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark, the usual impressed marks and a painter's number 23 in puce. The bird is 9.625 inches tall, about 8.5 inches wide and about 5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
