Blue Onion Tea Light

This is a lidded tealight for your teapot warmer or veilleuse made by Meissen in the 20th century. Basically the carrying case for the little candle to keep your teapot warm. It is decorated with their famous and ever popular blue onion design. Simple shape with a nice handle to one side. The main body of the tea light is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed numbers and a blue line to the side. First quality. The dish and lid are in perfect condition. The piece is about 1.75 inches tall with a diameter of 2.125 inches. The handle sticks out about 1.25 inches to one side.
