Rare Blue Onion Hourglass

This is a very rare treat - an hour glass made by Meissen in the 20th century. I have never come across one until I recently bought two of which one sold right away. So here is one last chance to get this rare piece! The hour glass is made up of two porcelain circular discs decorated in ther famous blue onion / Zwiebelmuster design with the hour glass center being made of glass with plastic rings between the glass and the porcelain to protect it. Everything is held together by three brass (I think) columns with nice nuts at the ends. A bit of a decoration was cut into the brass to make it more elegant. Just an amazing and fun piece and a definite must have for the collector of Meissen Blue Onion pieces or hour glasses for that matter. A very delicate and elegant piece! It is in perfect condition with some oxidation on top of one of the metal nuts where it was rubbed a bit from use. Each of the porcelain pieces is marked in the "stalk" of the onion as well as on the other side near one of the brass pieces as shown.
