Bacchus Scene Plaque

This is a superb plaque made by Meissen around the mid 18th century. The oval porcelain piece is hand painted with a superb scene of what looks to be Bacchus aka Dionysus or the god of wine among other things in the center with a nude lady - possibly the goddess Venus to the left and a figure on the right that looking at his face might be the god Pan. The three are lying / sitting in what looks to be a cave with a shrub by the opening. There is a leopard pelt under them and Venus has a pink and a white cloth by her some of which are covering her mid section but her breasts are exposed. Pan has an orange cloth. There is a jug covered with grape leaves on the ground in front of them. A superbly painted piece that is very detailed and of top quality! It comes in a brass (I think) frame that looks ncie enough. It has some nice details to it and held onto the plaque by metal prongs bent over the back of the plaque. The frame has darkened with age but could be polished. The porcelain is in great condition except for a small chip to the top edge hidden by the frame when on display! The plaque is only marked by an impressed number 110 or something along those lines. It is unglazed and any mark that might have been there is gone. There is however no doubt as to the maker looking at the quality! Definitely a Meissen piece! The entire piece and frame are 0.375 inches thick, 4.625 inches wide and just under 4 inches high. The plaque is 4.25 inches wide and 3.375 inches high.
