Amazing Scenic & Puce Scale Trim Cup & Saucer

This is an amazing cup and saucer made by Meissen in about 1750. Both the cup and saucer have a handpainted large scene on them on them as well as a several small scattered flowers. Nice floral arrangement in the bottom of the inside cup but my favorite part is the superb puce trim to the rim highlighted with a blue, orange and yellow scrollwork along the bottom edge. One of the best trims they had and with the quality of these scenes this would have been a top piece for this period and with that any period in the history of Meissen! The cup and saucer are in perfect condition with some very minor spots wear mostly to the gold along the cup edge and some glaze scips along the foot ring of both. The saucer is about 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 3.125 inches in diameter. Both pieces are marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark with the dot between the bottom as well as the usual impressed number. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
