Amazing Fruit, Veggie and Butterfly Teapot

This is a rare early teapot made by Meissen just before 1740. A beautiful piece of a nice size that is hand painted with a rare motif. It does not have an impressed number yet but I don't think it is much before 1740. The tea pot is nicely modeled with an animal spout highlighted with gilding, a nice handle shape also with some gold trim, a raised basket weave design to the top edge of the main body and the edge of the lid, a nice floral finial that is amazingly in very good shape but the best part is the hand painted design of fruit, vegetables, berries, nuts and bugs all over. Two large arrangements - one to each side and the rest scattered about. Some amazing butterflies, an ant, a yellow and red ladybug and a large fly are among the bugs. The pot is in amazing condition, one tiny petal on the finial has a chip as does the edge of the leaf which is minimal and there is a flat chip along the top edge of the main body as shown. As flat as I have ever seen one of that size and not obvious at all. The handle is a touch crooked from the firing process. Otherwise it is perfect and it displays as such! Marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords to the bottom as shown. The pot with the lid is about 4.25 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 7.75 inches long.
