A-Kante Teacup & Saucer

This is a porcelain tea cup and saucer made by Meissenin the 20th century. The decoration is from their A-Kante design with both pieces having a nice edge shape. They are both hand painted with a large polychrome floral arrangement to one side as well as a smaller arrangement and a single flower plus the cobalt blue and gold trim design to the rim that gives this service its name. A nice looking set that is in perfect condition. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 5.875 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. Both are marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. as shown. I also have the sugar dish and creamer up on the site if anyone is interested in multiple pieces from this design. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
