Trembleuse Saucer

This is a rare early saucer made by Meissen in about 1750. It is handpainted with four floral arrangements, has some relief design to the paste around these and what makes it rare it has the extra part in the center to help keep the cup in place for older people whose hands were a bit shaky. There is also a small flower in the very center and one tiny flower on top of a flaw on the rim. The saucer is marked with the straight blue crossed swords underneath and it has an impressed number 52. The piece is in superb condition same as the day it was made. Some factory flaws and the paste is a bit grey with lots of tiny spots but all this is original to the piece. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.375 inches.
