Scenic Single Cup

This is a superb cup made by Ludwigsburg around 1780. The cup is handpainted with a very high quality landscape scene including a hiker, a castle high up on a plateau and the usual rocks, trees and water one sees in their better scenes. The rest of the cup has some small scattered flowers on it, a brown line on the edge, a bit of gold trim on the outside rim and a nice basket weave design to the paste of the rim. Nice handle shape highlighted with gilding as well. It is marked with the CC mark underneath as shown as well as an i near the footring and a number 3 on the footring. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. It is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or photos.
