Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer set made by Ludwigsburg around 1765. The set is handpainted with a top quality scene on both pieces as well as some nice gold trim. The handle on the cup is superb! The scenes are some of the nicest ones I have seen by them. Both are marked with the CC mark under the crown in underglaze blue. The cup is 2.625 inches tall and 2.625 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. The set is in great condition with a minor inside footring chip to the cup and a small restored chip to the saucer rim which seemed to have been just on the top and very shallow. A spot of wear on the scene of the saucer where there is a bit of a raised blob in the paste. Please email me for more information or photos.
