Repaired Scenic Plate

This is a great plate made by Ludwigsburg between 1759 and 1770. It is handpainted with a superb scene in the center and six flowers on the basketweave rim quite typical of that period. Gold trim on the rim. The plate is marked with the CC mark under the crown in underglaze blue as well as an incised letter H. The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 9.625 inches in diameter. It is in superb display condition but there are a few spots on the rim that are restored perfectly and can only be seen when you use a bright light shining though the plate. They appear to have been flat chips to the back edge. There is a little wear to the gold trim. Please email me for more information or photos.
