Large Figurine

This is a large figurine of a nude lady made by Ludwigsburg in about 1775. It is the Venus of Medici and she was designed by Beyer between 1765 and 1767. She has a dolphin by her side and some grasses in the back. One hand is covering her bottom area and another is trying to cover her breasts. The figure is not marked but quite obviously Ludwigsburg and can be found in the books, etc. She is 13.75 inches tall, 3.75 inches deep and 5.25 inches wide. She displays perfectly but she was restored superbly - I believe on the hands, arms and possibly through the body though it is hard to tell with the usual overspray overkill that retorer's have a tendency to do. Like I said she displays superbly! There is also a teeny chip to the grass in the back, another small chip to a bushy grass on the base and two firing flaws on her arm. Underneath the base they removed some of the support brackets. Please email me for more information or photos.
