Meissen Style Sugar Dish

This is a suagr dish with its lid made by Ludwigsburg probably in the early 19th century or maybe very late 18th century. The decoration is definitely taken from a Meissen model but nicely done with three larger floral arrangements, some scattered small flowers, a nice green band as trim with a brown ground color near the edge and some fancy gilding. The finial is superb and amazingly intact with that thin stem! Actually the dish is in perfect condition with just some firing flaws to the underside and isnide unglazed areas as shown from the making! The main body is marked with the underglaze blue CC mark and there are two impressed 1s by the footring. The sugar dish is 3.75 inches tall and has a diameter of 3.875 inches.
