Gentleman with Muff

This is a figurine made by Ludwigsburg in the later 18th century. It is marked with the CC mark in underglaze blue as shown. The figure is of a gentleman with a muff wearing a fur coat and a hat. The piece was designed by Pierre Francois Lejeune who did quite a few figures. A superbly modeled and painted piece and very typical for their figurines! The piece is 4.75 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. He is in great condition with a few spots of wear and the wrist of the hand that is on his head has an old repair to it. I assume it is a manufacturing defect since it couldn't break off. Not visible unless you really look for it! Three minor chips to the base bottom edge. Please email me for more information or photos.
