Rare Faience Figurine

This is what I believe to a rare faience figurine made by Ludwigsburg in the 18th century. I am fairly sure there are no known figures by them made of faience but I do know they made dishes and honestly there had to have been some figurines as well at some point. I ahve found many things over the year that were not meant to exist so maybe this is another one of those. Looking at the way he is modeled and especially the face it make sense for it to be by them or at least but the same modeler and I know some of them traveled around quite a bit. But knowing that they made porcelain figures that looked like this around this time I tend to believe why not a faience piece as well. If someone has a better idea of a mker I am always open to that. Either way a very nice and itneresting figure that is nicely modeled and hand painted. Not sure what he is supposed to be but it appears he has a bench type contraption on his back and is holding something in his right hand I cannot figure out and he used to have a walking stick in his left hand which is missing. One can still see where it attached to the base. The figure itself is in great condition as is the base. Some minor damage to his nose amd a few small glaze flakes here and there. The strap to the piece on his back ismissing a small section on the right side, the bench is missing a section to the top back, there is a pipe coming out of the top front of the bench that is broken off and that black hat looking thing on the side is chipped at the back end plus the bench ismissing one leg as shown. Still a superb piece and if it is Ludwigsburg something very rare and special! The figure is not marked which does not help us at all :) It is 5.625 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep.
