Lowestoft Curtis Pattern Creamer

This is a rare creamer made Lowestoft in the 18th century. This was one of the top makers back then and is quite uncommon and a collector must have :) This piece is superbly hand painted with a colorful design called the Curtis pattern and dates to around 1780. Lots of smaller single flowers scattered about as well as a larger arrangement in a planter to the front and a pink mesh design to the sparrow beak shaped spout and to the opposite side where the handle attaches to the top. Nice trim to the handle. The cream jug has the typical handle shape with the "kick" out on the bottom. The pitcher is in superb condition with a a few tiny scratches to the planter part of the design, a glazed over chip to the foot ring from when it was made but all in all as nice as you will find! The piece is not marked but that is normal. The little guy is 3.5 inches tall, 3.125 inches from handle to spout and 2.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
