Longton Hall Strawberry Leaf Plate

This is a rare strawberry leaf dish / plate made by Lonton Hall in the 1750's. It is made of soft paste porcelain and hand painted in the " Trembly Rose " painter style with flowers in the center with two larger floral arrangements as well as some smaller flowers and a really fun bug which is my favorite part! Longton Hall was started around 1750 and was closed somewhere around 1759. The rim of the plate has strawberry leaves along it including the occasional strawberry with molded details and a nicely shaped edge. A stunning plate when on display! The piece is unmarked which is common for their soft paste porcelain dishes but unmistakably by them. The piece is in pretty good condition with a repair to a chip along the edge as shown which could definitely be done better, another chip to mostly the underside and some minor chipping here and there. It also has a hairline as shown but display wonderfully as is or could be brought back to perfection if need be without much of a problem. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 8.75 inchesin diameter.
