Liverpool Chinoiserie Saucer

This is a rare saucer made by Seth Pennington of Liverpool in about 1780. It is handpainted with a superb Chinoiserie scene of two figures with a tree in the center and a rock, some grass and a fence (?) in the background. The one figure is holding something in its hand but I cannot make out what it is. The colors are strong and the detail superb which makes this one elegant English saucer :) It is in perfect condition with just a teeny bit of wear. The saucer is unmarked which is the norm! It is 1.125 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
