Liverpool Long Bridge Cup & Saucer #2

This is a cup and saucer made by one of the Liverpool factories in the 18th century. The factory being Philip Christian in this case. It is made of a type of softpaste porcelain and nicely handpainted with an underglaze blue pattern with buildings, funky trees and a long bride hence its name - Long Bridge pattern. Nice blue trim to the rim. The cup and saucer are in great condition with some manufacturing impurities and the saucer is out of round from the firing a bit which you can see in the pictures. The set is unmarked which is the norm. The porcelain is extremely thin and fine which is amazing! The teabowl is 1.5 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and 4.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
