Liverpool Chinoiserie Scene 2 Figures Saucer

This is a rare saucer made by Seth Pennington of Liverpool in the 18th century . It is hand painted with a superb Chinoiserie scene of two figures with a tree in the center and some some grasses in the background. The colors are strong and the detail superb which makes this one elegant English saucer :) Typical red trim for this maker along the edge. A really nice looking example and the colors are nicer than on most. The saucer is in perfect condition with some minor manufacturing imperfections normal to these early wares. The piece is unmarked which is the norm! It is 1.125 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
