Limoges Small Enamel Brooch

This is a really nice little oval enamel (on copper I assume) plaque made into a pin / brooch made in France - in the Limoges area - around 1900. The design is of a young lady wearing a scarf on her head, a white blouse and an orange top. The scarf and top are made of that amazing shiny foil enamel with gold highlights. A really stunning little piece and I have not seen a nice pin like this before. The background is a really deep maroon color and the piece is signed with the initials GH as shown. Not sure of the artist. A really nice looking example. It is mounted in a brass frame (I assume) with a nice rope like design all around the edge. In the back it has the pin to hold it in place with a nice fastening mechansim as shown. The piece is in great condition with two dents to the backside and a bit of the side in those spots presumable to fasten it together and hold it in place. Marked FRANCE on the back as shown. The pin is about 1.25 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall so not too big and perfect to wear. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
