Limoges Enamel Round Box

This is a cute small round pill / snuff / whatever you want it to be box made in the Limoges area of France around the mid to late 19th century. It is made of enamel on brass and is of nice quality! The top has a scene of a nicely dressed young lady holding a flower in one hand and a basket filled with flower in the other all in a landscape surrounding. The bottom has a simple landscape scene to it. Brass mounts.The piece is of very nice quality. It is not marked but the style is typical for this area and period. The box is in superb condition with some minor dings to the inside mounts. It closes nicely and stays shut. The piece is 1.25 inch tall with a diameter of 2.125 inches.
