This is a saucer made by Limbach around 1780. Limbach was founded in 1762 and made porcelain until about 1850. This saucer has a hand painted scene in puce of a couple of buildings in a nice landscape surrounding with three little leaves along the rim of the dish. The saucer is in perfect condition as shown. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed L mark meant to imitate the Meissen crossed swords mark. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter.
