Limbach Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup & saucer made by Limbach around 1780. Both pieces are handpainted with a very detailed landscape scene that is about as good an example as one can hope to find by them and shows how good they really were. The inside of the cup and saucer have the ribbed design which is typical of this region.The set is in excellent condition with a small spot of wear to the scene in the saucer. They are marked underneath with a black clover leaf mark. Small on the cup and a bit bigger on the saucer. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
