Le Nove Winter Figure

This is a very rare figurine made most likely by Le Nove aka Nove di Bassano founded by Pasquale Antonibon but there is a small chance it was made by either Naples (Real Fabbrica Ferdinandea) or Buen Retiro though I doubt it. The piece likely dates to about 1775 and is made of Softpaste porcelain. It is of a gentleman wrapped in a white cloth standing on a rock and soild base with some greenery attached. He is likely meant to signify Winter - one of the four seasons. The piece is very well modeled especially his hair and the cloth. Quite the rare figurine! The piece is in pretty much perfect condition with some very very minor wear and some faint lines in the surface of the porcelain common on softpaste porcelain! There is a minor firing crack on the top of his left foot. All issues stem from the making and he is pretty much in the same shape as when he left the factory which is amazing! The figure is unmarked but that seems to be the norm - it does have two airholes underneath a shown. The piece is 7.375 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide and 2.625 inches deep.
