Yellow Ground Scenic Plate

This is the fanciest design of this style saucer made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with two high quality large scenes of couples in a landscape surrounding and an amazing raised gold trim with the open areas having a yellow ground color (quite rare as the turquoise is much more common) with lots of amazingly detailed gold designs to it. About as superb a saucer as you can find from KPM of this period! The base style of this is the Neuzierat style with that great raised gold trim. The piece is in perfect condition which always helps :) The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.25 inches. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as s painter's or gilder's mark and the usual impressed marks pieces of this period have.
