Weichmalerei Ice Skater Figurine

This is a really nice figurine made by KPM in the early 20th century during the Art Nouveau period in which they used these superb softer colors called Weichmalerei which I really like. The figure is of an ice skater wearing a fur lined cloth with the strap on ice skates on his feet while standing on an ice covered base including the ice covered tree stump in the back. A really nicely modeled piece that is hand painted superbly! The figurine is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb and the usual other marks one would find one pieces from this period as shown. The figurine is in great condition with just the tip of the left ice skate having been restored. Hard to spot and the piece displays perfectly! The figure is 6 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
