Superb Floral Scene Plate #1

This is a superb plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is handpainted with a rare large and very realistic floral arrangement in the center in the Weichmalerei colors of the Art Nouveau period plus the rim itself is painted with gold on a raised design that is quite nice. The scene is larger than normal covering the entire plate center which is extra nice. The piece is in great condition with a little wear but displays beautifully. It is just over 8.5 inches in diameter so a very nice size. The plate is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, a gold and black painter's number, the iron cross for the period during the first World War and the usual impressed marks of the period.
