Weichmalerei Candlesticks

This is a pair of candle sticks made by KPM in about 1901. I have never seen this model by them but it is extremely well done with lots of small applied flowers and leaves as well as lots of handpainted flowers in the Weichmalerei style with nice gilding. The pair of candleholders is in remarkable condition considering the fragile nature and age of them. There is one flower that is damaged and a few have restorations to them but they are very well done and blend in perfectly. The candlesticks are marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb, a set of impressed marks including an A for the year code and a gilders and painters number. The pair is 7.625 inches tall and 4.5 inches in diameter plus the feet. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
