Weichmalerei Plate w/ Pansies

This is a superb plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a superb Floral arrangement in the center including pansies and their leaves in the Weichmalerei style with the rim having three panels of golden twigs and some very fancy gold work in between and some on a light green ground color to the raised gold area along the rim. Some of that gilding juts out into the well of the plate. The gold work is super detailed and amazing. A truly stunning and elegant plate and not something one sees everyday either. The plate is in perfect condition. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the over glaze red KPM orb mark showing it was painted by KPM and the usual impressed and painter's / gilder's marks as shown.
